We watched Canadian Bacon this week eh. As you may or may not know, Jen misses John Candy every day of her goddamn life, and this was his last released movie, which is too bad because his last released movie was this movie. But it has a great cast and you may come away from this experience feeling as we ended up feeling, that this movie is underrated.

We went from real silly to real serious in this one, and CW: We discuss suicide, grief and trauma at the end. You should also be warned that Micah butchers the Canadian National Anthem and we tell knock knock jokes and we understand that that will be offensive to some listeners.

We’re back! And so is Tom Cruise. Over and over and over. He doesn’t die in this movie, like 8 times or some shit. We watched Interview with the Vampire and made some very important realizations:

1) David Miscavige is a vampire

2) This might be Antonio Banderas at his worst

3) Jen is better than Micah at vampire accents

Damnit. Well, here it is I guess. Ok, ok, there’s actually some good parts in here that you’ll want to listen to. Some wonderful listeners shared heartwarming and heartbreaking stories about prom experiences. Jen made Micah watch the first and last episodes of season 8, the final season, of Full House. We interviewed Ken Marino! Seriously! And he was absolutely delightful. He was gracious and patient and funny and honest and curious and sincere and we can’t express how appreciative we are and how honored we are that we got to speak with him. Jen and Micah asked all the hard-hitting questions, didn’t hold anything back, and definitely didn’t gush over him at all. Plus, he took his pants off not once but TWICE within the first minute of our conversation, so.

Not only did we get the back story on The State, but we got to talk about his other work and even delved into topics such as parenting and politics. (In fact, we talked for so long that we had to cut some parts and those will be available to our patrons on Patreon!) AND because Ken is such a beautiful angel of a man, he expressed a genuine interest in Jen’s Montana story, so this is also a good Montana episode!
